In some other leagues we are in there is a trade committee. Do we want to potentially implement that in this league? That way all trades aren't so heavily commissioner reliant? Just a thought.

I'm ok with a trade commitee. I did it originally just as a commish thing because I wanted the reasoning behind the trades to be consistent. My intention for vetoing trades was for it to never happen because our owners here are smart enough not to harm the future of their own franchise. Veto is only to be used for collusion and something really crazy, not just because a player is getting too many good A-ball prospects. Since I'm not around as much as I was, if we want a trade commitee so others can have a say, I am cool with that.

We have never had a problem in this league. If it is obvious you and Jeremy will make the right decision. The decisions made by you two have worked so far. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do so the rest of us can enjoy. Does MLB have a trade committee?

Thanks for all the hard work you guys do so the rest of us can enjoy. Does MLB have a trade committee? My reason for posting this was not to question Jeremy or Matt. I've just been seeing Jeremy post things in the trade threads like, "approved and processed on CBS baring no objection from Matt". I just seemed the process is heavily reliant upon admins. I guess my thought was if we had a trade committee of say 3 people and 2 approved it the first admin on the board could process it. That is if they didn't have an objection to it. My apologies if it seemed like I was insinuating the current process was not working.

I think Jeremy was being respectful to me and not wanting to overstep his bounds. He is just as much commish here as I am, if not more. He has been doing the vast majority of the work over the last year and anything he says goes. My schedule is getting busier all the time and I don't want something in the league to be held up because I'm not here. That's why I'm ok with a trade committee, essentially to ease the pressure on Jeremy if he needs it. I think the way it works is fine, but I'm open to it. If I'm ever needed quickly email me at garrioch13@gmail.com and I'll be able to respond as quickly as I can.
