I'm not sure how this thread will go, but anytime a new owner comes in I know that have a lot of questions because of the complexity of these leagues. I don't mind answering these questions at all, I just think sometimes a new owner may not no what the question is he needs to ask. So I am going to put together a short list of questions I want any owner to know the answers to. Feel free to add or chime in on things that were confusing to any of you also.
1--Do I understand what a "franchise" player is and the rules regarding having one?
2--Do I understand "option" contracts?
3--Do I understand "y2y" contracts and 50ip/130ab rookie threshold?
4--Do I understand "match" players for free agency?
5--Do I understand draft pick compensation for lost free agents?
There are many more questions, but these are the ones I think cause the most confusion.
