NEW YORK -- After years of rebuidling TO_Superbas' mess, general manager K. Daddy is ready to lead Mike Bordicks Baseball Club into the post season.
"I'm really confident about our chances this year," Daddy said. "I really think this could be the year where, you know, if everything comes together, we could be dangerous."
K. Daddy has suffered years of humiliation. Starting with the controversial trading of Albert Pujols, K. Daddy has since learned the ways of the trade and wanted to make a guarentee to all the fans out there.
"This is the year," Daddy smiled. "This is the year we win it all."

NEW YORK, NY -- Another day, another quality arm for Mike Bordicks.
Looking to bolster their young, powerful pitching staff, Mike Bordicks have acquired Jesse Hahn from Mace Maulers for two prospects.
"Jesse brings something great to this team," Daddy said. "He brings a knockout curve, a small but promising track record and pitching depth. Doesn't hurt when it comes cheap."
According to sources, Bordicks were looking at pitching all off season and early reports pointed towards free agency. But with the acquisition of Hahn, a source said Bordicks will reinvest their funds for a positional player, with early indications pointing towards shortstop JJ Hardy or second-basemen Aaron Hill.
So far this off season, Bordicks have cleared cap with the dumping of Kendry Morales and acquired the second overall pick in the MLBFA draft, where they will select either Yasmany Tomas or Yoan Moncada.
"We're here to win," Daddy said. "We're here to win now."

Bordicks to dedicate season to the late Oscar Tavares?
NEW YORK, NY -- After a tragic night took the lives of former Cardinals outfield Oscar Tavares and his girlfriend, Mike Bordicks will dedicate their upcoming season to Tavares.
Owner and general manager K. Daddy revealed the team will wear a patch in honor of the fallen prospect. They plan to reveal an updated logo in the coming weeks.
"I was always a huge fan of Oscars," Daddy said. "I think this is the right thing to do. I don't see any other teams doing this."
Bordicks are dealing with a potential loss to their own family, with Mariners prospect Victor Sanchez currently in a coma after being struck by a boat while swimming in his native land. Daddy refused to comment at this time.

Observer #1--I'm surprised K Daddy does not talk in the 3rd person, you know, like "K Daddy gonna do what K Daddy gonna do".
Observer #2--Having a GM named K Daddy is like having Master P as your agent. No one takes you seriously and it won't end well.
Observer #1--I heard Ruben Amaro was their first choice.

BREAKING -- Mike Bordicks owner K. Daddy leaked confidential trade materials into the mainstream media, in direct violation of league rules. It is currently unclear how commissioner "Jerbear" is going to respond.
Fans around the league are calling for the forfeiture of Bordicks' 2nd overall MLFAD pick. More to come. #TradeGate

Bordicks sign three to fuel championship run
NEW YORK, NY --- Mike Bordicks general manager K. Daddy has had a quiet off-season on the free agency front, but acquired a few role players to fuel their championship run.
Second-basemen Yunel Escobar agreed to a one-year-deal with Bordicks for $3.6M, with a two-year-team option.
“Yuni brings something we haven’t had in the past—depth,” Daddy said. “It’s important to not only have the best players on the field, but the best players on the bench. He gives us depth and as a proven veteran, we expect him to contribute right away.”
Bordicks also resigned Corey Hart and Odrisamer Despaigne. They are "close" with utility player John Mayberry Jr and expect to wrap up a one-year-deal later today.
According to sources, Bordicks will either explore a trade possibility for another bat or will invest heavily in an “outfielder or two” and pitching. Daddy would not comment on the rumor about signing former Cy Young winner Roy Halladay as a mentor for his young pitching staff.
“We just want to let everyone know that we are serious,” Daddy smirked. “It’s ride or die, Jeremy.”
NOTES FROM SPRING TRAINING
- Mike Bordicks are considering filing "trolling" charges against Mookie Monster. - No punishment for K. Daddy's public shot at Akai. - #RideorDie is the official team slogan for this season.

Bordicks GM 'devastated' after Stroman loss
NEW YORK, NY --- Mike Bordicks Baseball Club lost an important part to their #RideorDie campaign thanks to Marcus Stroman tearing his ACL during a morning workout on Tuesday.
Bordicks general manager K. Daddy was devastated when he heard the news.
"You really just want everything to go according to the blueprint," K. Daddy said. "We got [Marcus] as an essential throw-in in a deal last season and were counting on him to contribute in huge ways. Obviously this changes everything."
Reports indicated that K. Daddy was looking to potentially shop either Cole Hamels or Zack Greinke but the loss of Stroman has stalled those plans.
"We're going to need other guys to step up," Daddy said at a press conference outside of a McDonalds in Midtown. "That's why we brought in Jesse Hahn and resigned Odrisamer. This really changes everything."
According to a source close with the team, Bordicks was "furiously" targeting a certain all-star caliber infielder but talks broke down after the second party, a "newbie," could not properly evaluate the assets of the trade and has since not returned any of Bordicks messages.
Bordicks will now focus on the final stage of free agency, acquiring some arms with the little cap they have left in order to fill out their remaining roster spots.
