I'm new so I don't know how competitive this league is when it comes to playoffs/winning. If there is a desire to improve playoff position or try to go for a win, why wait until you are desperate for one of my difference makers and need to overpay to make your move when you can look to add them now, have them for a longer period of time to get a bigger impact and possibly get them a bit cheaper.
Not implying that I'm selling cheap, but when the deadline approaches I would likely be looking to maximize my return so you can move up. Basically, now is the time.
