The 2011 FYPD will start on August 1st, 2011 at 9:00am. The time slots will be as follows for most days (all times are Eastern):
FYPD 1 Yangels--9:00am 2 Philly Stars--9:30am 3 AkaiRyu--10:00am 4 Vipers--10:30am 5 Northmen--11:00am 6 Superbas--11:30am 7 Mashers--12:00pm 8 SLC Bums--12:30pm 9 Pie Traynor--1:00pm 10 Motown Hits--1:30pm 11 Spiders--2:00pm 12 JABO--2:30pm 13 Fat Drunks--3:00pm 14 Big Steve--3:30pm 15 Steelers--4:00pm 16 Blackie--4:30pm 17 Drive--5:00pm 18 Lemons--5:30pm 19 Big Bombers--6:00p 20 Willie--6:30pm
If you have trouble with your time slot, please PM me or someone who can make your pick in a timely manner. I pick late each day so there should be no conflict.
I will be working on supplemental picks this week.

are we still drafting tomorrow with 2-4 open teams? We will postpone until next Monday, August 8th, as I continue to look for a couple replacement owners.

I must be blind because I can;t find a record of the 2010 FYPD anywhere on this site or the old one...wanted to peruse it. Can someone point out where it might be? All other FYPDs and MLFADs are in the archives from other years so must be here somewhere

So the FYPD will likely change next year due to new agreement they are workign on now. According to Baseball America, they think hard slotting bonuses have no chance of being approved and these are the most likely changes;
" More likely draft changes include moving the signing deadline four to six weeks earlier. Free-agent compensation may be tweaked to reduce the number of supplemental first-round picks, and perhaps the trading of draft choices will be permitted. None of those modifications should affect bonuses, however. "
