I notice some of teams have players with contracts in their minors. I thought every player on a contract must be brought up to start the new league season and then have to pass through waivers again, is that not correct?

Only y2y.1 and y2y.2 guys can be in minors right now. Any of the others would have to go through the waiver process. Please PM me with any that you see.
You do not have to do a demotion for each guy if he is y2y.1 or y2y.2

I think FanTrax has a glitch. According to them, Dinelson Lamet (pitcher in the Padres system) pitched 44 IP last season, when in reality, he was just promoted to Triple A.
