Boulder Ball Busters use their 5.1 traded (approved) for pick on the following player;
5.1 SP Michael Kelly (SD)
More on the lil' guy;
"After a very strong summer and solid fall, Kelly looked primed to be one of the more intriguing high school arms in the class. There's still a lot to like about Kelly, but his performance this spring has been a little inconsistent.
At 6-foot-5, he's got a great pitcher's frame, but he has a tendency to drop and drive in his delivery, taking away that angle. He has a great power arm, with a plus fastball and the chance to improve it with some work to his mechanics. He also has a hard breaking ball that is more of a slurvy curve, and he doesn't throw a changeup much. His command is a little up and down, though he's shown some ability to command his fastball at times.
With good mound presence and his size, he has the chance to be not just a hard thrower, but someone who can use his size and stuff to his advantage."

With the first of four in a row picks at 5.18, Boulder Ball Bangers pick the following player;
5.18 C: Peter O'Brien (COL)
A little on the little tyke;
"All signs pointed to O'Brien being a definite first-round pick, and perhaps the first catcher to come off the board, as the 2011 season began.
He had a very solid summer playing for Team USA and looked like a future everyday backstop with power. That part of his game is still there -- he's got average power now and could have above-average power in the future.
He'll put on a show in batting practice, and his numbers this season have been good in that department. But he's been a below-average hitter overall, and it's led some to worry that he may not hit enough -- there's a lot of swing and miss to his game -- to tap into that power consistently. "

With their 5.19 pick, the Boulder Ball Busters pick the following player;
5.19 RP: Josh Osich (SF)
Here is the scoop;
"The big, strong lefty has plenty of arm strength, and he was all the way back in 2011 after redshirting in 2010 following Tommy John surgery. There was enough belief in his arm strength that the Angels took him in the seventh round of last year's Draft, even though he didn't pitch all year.
Osich has a plus fastball that can touch 97 mph and sits comfortably at 92-95 mph. His main secondary pitch is a changeup, which will be Major League average, perhaps a tick above, in the future. When he doesn't overthrow the changeup, it has some good dive to it. He added a slider this year, though it's below average right now, and he doesn't use it much.
While Osich has been in Oregon State's rotation all season and did pitch a no-hitter, his future is likely as a high-octane reliever. With the plus fastball and changeup and closer-type mindset, he could make a beeline for the big leagues once he's shortened up and in someone's system"

With their 5.20 pick, the Boulder Ball Busters pick the following player;
5.20 SP: Kevin Comer (TB)
A little on him;
"Comer gets his athleticism from both sides of his family -- his mother played professional basketball in Korean and Japan while his father played college football at Kansas -- and pairs it with impressive arm strength.
He'll sit 90-94 with a hard curveball in the upper 70s that runs into a slurvy slider in the 79-83 range, but doesn't have present command and needs more consistency on one of the breaking balls. His delivery is straightforward, driving to the plate with a moderate stride and some shoulder tilt (more pronounced last summer) but a slight arm wrap in the back. He's great raw material because he's athletic and throws hard, but a strong commitment to Vanderbilt could push him out of the sandwich/second-round range where he'd go on talent."

With their 5th and final pick of the 5th round, the Boulder Ball Busters pick the following player at 5.21
5.21 SP Kyle Winkler (ARI)
a little on him;
"Winkler has had to step up this year with Matt Purke ineffective and on the shelf for the Horned Frogs, and to Winkler's great credit he's done so, showing slightly better stuff than he did last year.
He's a max-effort right-hander who will touch 96 mph and hold 92-94 past 100 pitches, with a hard slider at 82-86 that has developed into an above-average offering; he'll mix in an occasional two-seamer at 88-89 in changeup counts. The delivery is quick and intense, like there's too much caffeine in his bloodstream, with a stiff landing and slight cutoff, and he's a clear reliever in pro ball because of the effort involved and the lack of projection, but he's one of the best of the potential relievers in this draft."
