If the MLB plays a 60 game "regular season" do we have any thoughts on how we will approach the fantasy season this year? Not a big fan of split week match-ups (ie Sunday to Wednesday and Thursday to Saturday) but not adverse to playing 2 or 3 opponents in 7 day week. Not sure what other options to consider if we want to stay head to head and possibly have playoffs. If we drop the playoffs that might open up some other choices.

I understand that we won’t be able to play all matchups. Shortening the weekly matchups would be too much of skewing results imo. I mean, in two or three days maybe none of your pitchers play and they won’t reach the minimum required?
Two months of play basically means playing only half of the matchups and a shortened playoff.
May the luckiest team win.

Also our playoffs are usually 4 weeks (Championship Series is 2 weeks). That’s roughly half of the season now. I think we would either need to reduce number of teams in the playoffs/play a 1 week championship or just eliminate the playoffs and just battle out the season until the end.

I don’t know. Season starts in a bit over a week and haven’t seen anything on here. Nor anything about the FYPD.
I really need some baseball in my life, even this fantasy.

OK guys her is the plan for the 2020 Perfect Game season:
We will play 7 "weekly" periods with each period consisting of your team playing 3 teams during that week. This will be a total of 21 matchups, so you will play all teams once and two teams twice. The schedule has been set up in Fantrax and currently accurate. The first period will consist of the the first week and a half.
I currently plan for 8 teams to make the playoffs like normal with the same 3 team battle for the the first week of the playoffs. So playoff seed #1 would play #4,#5 and #8 and the #2 seed would play #3,#6 and #7. The two winners of that round will play a normal one week final. If there are any ties, the higher seed wins the tie breaker.
I will address the MLFAD and the FYPD later this week. Please set your lineup for real baseball on Friday.

I'm confused. I thought there were going to be 7 scoring periods not 6? Looks like the playoffs have been set for period 7. Did something change?
