You can't sit back and wait for offers in this league. There is no activity. To get the best deal, you have to send a lot of messages to a lot of owners and expect to get a lot of no responses and a lot of lowball offers, but you have to be patient. What frustrates me about this deal is I was asked for two major leaguers for just Baez (I'm not a big fan of Baez, though) and then Hicks and Baez went for one part time MLB player and a few lottery tickets.
I do understand the frustration with trying to build a team in this league. The haves are out there low balling the new owners and other owners are just sitting on their hands not doing anything. There are also the occasional sweetheart deals made between owners with some kind of relationship (like the commish trading two non-quality FYPD picks for a bunch of picks in a loaded MLFAD with an owner who supposedly had not been on the board in a few weeks).
Eventually you just have to give in and the disparity in the league just gets worse. We all need to take a look at what we are doing (and, even more, not doing) and make adjustments to get this league on track.

I don’t know, I’m pretty high on Nate Lowe and Jake Vogel and not so high on Baez. Maybe I should have gotten more out of Hicks. Thanks for the shoutout and looking forward to those awesome offers I am going to receive for Snell!
