Hello All,
My name is Dan. I am the new owner of OPEN_Tampa Bay Rays. I think I will change the name but may wait until the off-season to do so in order to avoid confusion.
I am a maths (math to most of you) teacher in the Uk and have been playing fantasy baseball for about 10 years now. I am in a league with a few GM's from here (I think) called saber dynasty. I am a pretty active owner but the next few days I am away from home so it will be a bit more difficult for me to get to grips with the league.
I got into baseball when I saw a couple of games in San Francisco and Oakland in 2009 and I then saw a few more in New York and Philadelphia in 2010. Since then, and now having young children, opportunity to see live baseball has been limited to the TV. I am a Giants fan (due to that first trip and being lucky enough to see Lincecum pitch) and 2009 was a decent year to start taking an interest. Other than MLB I watch a lot of football (soccer to you guys!) and also watch NFL.
Anyway, am going to see if I can work out what these contract designations mean,
