We are in the process of trying to rebuild the league. We have, I think, five new owners since the start of last season. I think we also have some commitment from a couple of owners who have been less active to try to step things up.
I don't know what the rest of you have heard, but I've spoken with most of our new owners over the last several seasons here on the board and their biggest frustration is their inability to get other owners engaged in trade talks so they can upgrade their teams.
I've also heard from some of you veteran owners who feel that trading is overrated and you don't like to do it. That's a valid approach, though everyone can improve their teams with a strategic deal here or there. You don't all have to be me, though
Anyway, I'd love to have your unwanted FYPD picks. More importantly, SOMEONE should have them. If you don't plan to use all of your picks, get in touch with one of the new owners and get some small asset in trade for them and help these guys rebuild teams that we have all allowed to become neglected over time. Let's help them jump start their comebacks so the league will be more fun and active and, eventually, more competitive, top to bottom.
