Isn’t there a limit on the number of picks that can be traded in a draft?

Isn’t there a limit on the number of picks that can be traded in a draft? No, not since 2019, it is in the league rules. It sucks someone trades away 19 picks for 5 prospects, but everyone can do whatever they want. I do think however that it should not be possible to trade away a pick in a round that is currently ongoing or has already passed.

They traded away 19 picks for 5 known commodities, position players, who are in the top 13 of their respective organizations. If you are traveling with limited to no internet, doesn't sound so bad. And picks from previous rounds have always been allowed to be traded.

Sure, that's fine, I just think that there is a bigger chance a certain team gets to dominate the draft, but the league rules are there so there is that. I get you can trade picks from previous rounds, I just don't think you should be allowed to actually make those picks too unless there is a confirmation of the trade. Otherwise you should rather change that rule of trade confirmation as well lol Not that I was planning on making that 2nd round pick you just took, but maybe someone else wants to.
