Hello, recently I have been checking players if on my roster are players are added. More than anything because of the recent MLFAD and FYPD and guys that become available after a certain period of time.
I notice players don't get added to rosters over time.
I decided to check players that were drafted by previous owners of my franchise and have stumbled across some players that are available on Fantrax but still are not part of my team. That's fine. But I have also stumbled across a player that has been added to a different franchise and I think that is a problem.
It is Eli Morgan, who was drafted by one of the previous owners of my franchise in the 18th round of the 2017 FYPD and it can be found here: perfect-game.proboards.com/thread/2499/butlers-draft-history
Now in the 2019 MLFAD he was drafted in round #11 by JABO that is now the Tampa Bay Rays and that can be found here: perfect-game.proboards.com/thread/5660/2019-mlfad-drafted-list
I had no idea that guy was actually drafted by a previous owner or that he was drafted again. I am not checking everyone's draft.
Who is the legitimate owner of Eli Morgan? I guess my franchise should be. Now it is not like Eli Morgan will be a game changer, but I think that it shows that in general there is something wrong with the tracking of players on this board and within Fantrax. Some specific management is necessary.
In this league there are many unprocessed waivers, contracts in Fantrax that are never updated if a player is called up and I have no idea if there is actually a checking done by this league on players passing the threshold or not.
I don't mind helping out with that to improve this league but I think something should be done.
