I'm a little confused as to this thread. An explanation may be in a post I somehow missed, if so I apologize. Is this just a list of guys who might want to be franchised ? Owners still can have only 1 franchised player ? This thread is just to declare it ?

I believe the names under each team are suggesting who you could Franchise if you wanted to.

You can cut and paste the list and simply decline all or accept one or just post your franchise player. Again, there is a method to the madness and that will be posted in the rules section... |

The league rule has been that any expiring contract can be franchised. I did not include all expiring contracts for a few reasons. Owners can franchise anyone they choose with an expiring contract. I could have franchised Pablo Lopez, but since we only get one franchise player, I chose to wait two years and use Max Fried instead.
As far as I can tell, there is nothing in the rules that prohibits an owner from refranchising a previously franchised player, even.
My purpose in this thread was to highlight the number and quality of expiring y2y6 contracts to stimulate some thought/discussion on how we view this whole concept.
