Question - am I really expected to post every time I send down a y2y1 or y2y2 guy to my minors ? My roster stays pretty fluid, I will make changes on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Friday etc in order to get ready for the following week. I keep a full 40 man and I take advantage of rotating y2y1/2 guys to keep flexible.
I 100% agree that we should have to post when we call up a player and he needs to start his y2y1 contract, but I don't see the benefit of posting here mundane moves. Maybe I'm missing something though.

I want to be very clear here about a couple of things. Most importantly, I want to be clear that I mean no offense to you or anyone else who has operated this way in past seasons. It's important that everyone understand that, in this situation and any others that might arise in the future.
1. Changes to the 40 man roster are not insignificant or mundane. They impact the players you have available for a given matchup. The 40 man roster was never designed (either here or in MLB) to be something that changes back and forth on a weekly or even monthly basis. 25 man active rosters can certainly do that, but the 40 remains pretty consistent, generally speaking.
2. Our rules as presently set up allow for owners who build their teams in certain ways to work with what is essentially a 45-50 man basic roster when you factor in the ability to move y2y1 and 2 contracts back and forth from the 40 to the minors. It's a huge advantage. To make use of it on a regular basis requires a small inconvenience of posting the moves in the proper areas of the board. It's a fair trade, in my opinion.
3. This really falls into a general concern that we have become very lax in enforcing rules in the league over the years. This has led, I believe, to many owners either not caring about the details or not taking their league seriously at all because others don't care about the details. We need to post all of our transactions that change the 40 man roster. That way, everyone who wants can see how often something like this is happening and decide for themselves whether it is something we want to take a look at as far as finding ways to make it less of an advantage. If it is not happening all that much, I think everyone will be fine with it. If it's a situation where an owner is really working from a roster where players are shuttled up and down on a weekly basis, maybe the league would want to discuss that. Either way, we need to follow our procedures even when they might be a bit inconvenient.
Again, no offense intended here. We just need to all be on the same page. As we try to rebuild the league, I believe it is important to be completely transparent about all of our procedures. We'll work together over time to figure out what matters to the majority of us and what doesn't.
