I knew that this first season in transition was going to hold some frustrations in a lot of ways. Anything I do, I like to do well and I try to find an organized way to do it that helps it go more smoothly. I'm obviously still tying to find the best way to make everything make sense to me here and I am really sorry when my inability to do so makes things more difficult for you guys.
I missed some rules when I was updating everything, especially in the area of free agency. We're finding our way through that. I also missed a player who should have been a free agent that I left on a roster until very late Monday night. George Springer fell through the cracks. I did not recheck all rosters after declarations had been made. I now know I have to do that in future years. I am very sorry for any issues this may have caused for any of you.
While I am going to say this here, it should not be taken as me blaming any of you for my mistake. It is my mistake. I did bad. End of story. I would like you all to read the stuff I post here though and make an effort to help me out with your individual teams. Please always be checking your rosters regularly, but especially in the periods when I specifically ask that you do. While I take full responsibility for any mistakes that are made, I would hope that you could hold me accountable as soon as possible when I do make one that involves your team.
As such, please regularly check your rosters as we work through free agency and then the MLFAD. There are a lot of steps that go into making sure everything gets done correctly and I fully expect to make a mistake here and there. I'm hoping we can minimize the damage those mistakes might cause if you let me know as soon as you see one. Send me a PM anytime or post on the wants/needs thread if you want to publicly shame me
