Players eligible for matching have been listed in the thread for week 1 matching.
reminder how it all works: Player must be introduced for bidding Introductions start at a minimum of 300k up to 1 mil any raise in bid can be made from 300k to 1 mil no more than 5 winning bids at one time. a bid must stand as high bid for 24 hrs in order to be won. once won the original owner has 24 hrs to match or decline match. Matching team can only match 2 of his 3 players can bid on 3rd one after 2 matched
1/31 edit
We need to also remember can't have bids on players without cap room. Example: Cap is 100 million if your current team salary is 80 million, you can't have active bids of more than 20 million.
I will notify you of the illegal bid, and delete the bid/s to keep the time stamp accurate.

reminder how it all works: any raise in bid can be made from 300k to 1 mil Earl, is this a new rule for 2024? The minimum raise has always been 100k, not 300k. Was this just a copy paste mistake from the intro bid statement?

I know I am a new comer, but I don’t see anything in current rules or old rules that clarifies that. Also tbh with the 2 owners who are basically just pulling from the bottom anyway we will be here for months with 100k bids. With simple math it’s easy to see why my roster and a few other rosters are in chaos. Trying to fill rosters with a 4 mil average if you are only talking your starting 25 is difficult to near impossible. Patience is key I get that but by looking at archived drafts turnover seems to be kind of high in this league, and starting right here in Free Agency seems to be a key issue as this is insane. That being said I am up to the challenge!

Ya there are certain owns I’ve noticed who are pulling from the bottom regardless of the player. Seems like they are pulling from the bottom and then going with the flow if they happen to land that player
Frustrating it is. But like you I am up for a challenge! Let the bidding wars begin

Was this just a copy paste mistake from the intro bid statement? It wasn't a typo and honestly wasn't a new rule. There actually was nothing in the new or old league rules that stated minimum bid. At the time I didn't think to look at the previous free agency I thought I remembered 300K so I went with it. As for fixing it for the remainder of the matching period I will stick with 300K, but we can go back to 100K starting with the next group. This was an honest oversight. I am not taking over and changing rules on any sort of whim.

Patience will be key. I would also ask, if you have any negativity towards a rule, owner or anything else please PM me and address your concerns. Welcome to the league.

FWIW -minimum 300k seems fine to me. 100k bids can get a little tedious. I personally think the max increase should be higher, but I understand the reasoning behind having it where it is. And "pulling from the bottom" stops once prices get to where players actual values are.

what if the players that you put up for matching do not get bid on. What is the process on that one? Are they still considered FA's or do they go back to the original owner at 300K to match

I think they are still considered FAs. And whenever they are brought up for bidding the previous owner still has matching rights. @commish - please confirm or correct me.

they are still considered FAs, and there match is still in effect, even if not introduced until later.
