Leaving this league

So, after watching Free agency for 9 days (my roster was pretty full so didn't need to do much) I'm leaving this league. So Earl, I really was excited, but these two owners are too much for me to enjoy the league. The lopsided  deal yesterday and bidding on a guy with less than an hour left pulling from the bottom, I mean he only had 30 hrs to bid on him sooner and he only took the one player and the deal yesterday. A 10th round MLFAD pick for a 1st round pick who got hurt so spent 60 games in the minors with another injury while on his rehab stint is a freaking joke.  The fact the 2 of you traded and are the 2 pulling from the bottom shows the lack of integrity in this league not to mention you're both listed as administrators in this league.

Fundamentally Flawed is the perfect name for you. You have no idea how a league like this works if these are the criticisms you have.

In all seriousness - why wouldn’t you pull from the bottom in bidding ? We have a 24 hour clock. As I see someone getting near the finish line, I think to myself “is he worth it” and “can I afford to have him at a higher price”. If the answer is “this guy is worth more and I can afford him” then yes I’m gonna bump him. Everytime.

And if you want me to walk through the Bart trade I will as well. I almost declined his option this offseason but I figured he’s still a name and C is always scarce in this league so I could probably get something in return. Drive inquired about Bart almost immediately after I posted my trade block. He and I both were of the opinion Bart was pretty much washed at this point, but I wasn’t willing to deal him yet. As the matching FA went along I was in discussion with Speed Ups on a deal which would help me clear some money. As those talks went on and on, I was in a spot where I needed to clear money within a few hours in order to not lose Ozzie Albies. I wasn’t sure how long my trade talks with Atlanta were gonna go - so I reached out to Drive and said we can make a deal but we gotta do it fast. 10th rd FA pick was what we agreed to. Again this is for a guy who I almost declined and is probably gonna be in AAA. And I received no other offers on.

I fail to see where any of this shows a lack of integrity. Poor planning by me ? Maybe. I like to think it’s shrewd problem solving but to each his own.

You should be more concerned about Freddie Freeman 10.2m. What a bargain ! And yes I would’ve bumped him if I was allowed.
