I know we have a discussion thread, but wanted to have a place where you all could go with any specifics about the league and the way we do things.
I have not done the best job of communicating to this point as we have a few owners who are confused about what is required and when. I may have posted too often or not made things clear. I'll work at doing a better job at that.
For now, let me know what doesn't work for you. Now or as we move forward. I am working of organizing the board in a kind of trial and error way and there are things that may not be clear or obvious. Let me know when you are confused or have questions.
When you see/need/want something, post here in a separate thread and I'll address it. Thanks!

I have 6 players who were y2y.1 and y2y.2 and I posted them on the demotions page and moved them to the minors with your help. Now they are back on my active roster. I am assuming I should just move them back to the minors?

I'm going to work on updating them. For now, Fantrax is official.I left last season's rosters there so guys could more easily find matching players, but we don't need them anymore so I'm going to be getting the 2023 rosters on the pages.

is there a way to change the info displayed on the 'Players' page? It would be helpful to have age there, especially when researching MiLB FA draft players to make sure they are the right guy

Thanks. 25 comp picks seems like an arbitrary #.
What happens if multiple FAs sign for the same amount and there is a tie for the 25th pick. How is that settled?

Normal ties will be settled according to regular draft order. The team with the worst record last season will get the first pick. This works for any number of tied teams.
If multiple teams tie for the 25th spot, all will get a pick according to the tie break order.

Not trying to cause a problem here but the trading of all picks or more than half of GMs picks being done and processed but it goes against the "New 2023 Rules".
I'm sure it's not intentional but the rules are clear and states a team can only trade half their picks in each draft.

Dec 16, 2022 at 11:16pm QuotelikePost OptionsPost by Daytona Sub500s on Dec 16, 2022 at 11:16pm I do want to clarify one thing here. In 2019 we changed the rule on trading draft picks. I missed that as the posted rules still stated that only half of your picks could be traded. You can now trade as many picks as you want. That's a good plan and makes it easier for those who don't care for the later rounds of drafts to trade as many picks as they feel they won't use. The rules page has been edited accordingly. Sorry if there was any confusion.

Where was it changed in 2019? It's in the old rules and the new ones Scott made Again. It was changed and we have been using the new rule for awhile. It was not noted in the old rules as some changes were not noted. To clarify, I did not put it in the new rules. I deleted it from the draft rules section. I don’t notice it in the trading section. We can trade as many picks as we want.

We can trade as many picks as we want. My point is that you changed other rules without a vote and said we were to follow the 2023 rules. That rule was left in so I think it was fair for us to assume that it is the rule. If it is not the rule, that's fine. But when you started changing rules you opened us up for confusion.
